I am passionate about Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Recommender Systems, Generative AI, and Internet business models. My research explores how this new Industrial Revolution will transform our economies, society, and our everyday lives.
TEACHING
I love teaching Artificial Intelligence to undergraduate, graduate and executive students. As Antoine de Saint-Exupéry wisely said: “Quand tu veux construire un bateau, ne commence pas par rassembler du bois, couper des planches et distribuer du travail, mais réveille au sein des hommes le désir de la mer grande et large”.
SPEAKING EVENTS
I regularly speak at conferences and industry events for audiences ranging from AI practitioners to business leaders. Sharing knowledge with companies and society is essential to my role as researcher. Through public outreach, I aim to raise awareness about the real impact, opportunities, and challenges of Artificial Intelligence.
PUBLICATIONS
My research has been published in international journals and conferences. In industry, I have co-authored over 18 patents, several of which were sold to Apple, Inc. I am also co-author of a book on Artificial Intelligence aimed at general audiences, published by National Geographic in 2017.
